Jewellery designer Husam el Odeh has absolutely nailed something that I am currently trying to master, and that is taking slightly mundane objects (i.e. the spoon!) or objects that look broken, cracked or even melting, and giving them a new dimension by making or casting them in precious metals and adding the embellishment of sparkly stones.
